Explorer Program

What is the Explorer Program?

This program is for students age 14-18 (grades 9-12) who are interested in learning more about a career in the field of Fire or Emergency Services.

The Explorer Program combines classroom training with hands-on lessons and gives students a firsthand look at what it's like to be a firefighter or paramedic!  The group will meet on a monthly basis (or as needed).

Come be a part of Fire Explorer Post #6 and take advantage of an amazing program designed to help prepare our youth for a career in Fire and EMS Services.

Benefits of the Program:

* Fun and exciting "hands on" career experiences
* Community service opportunities
* College and career readiness preparation

The Program's Purpose:

To inform the Explorers about career and areas of responsibility within the field of fire protection and to help the Explorers better understand the principles and responsibilities of fire protection agencies.
